Fiber Optic Patchcords are components to link equipments and components in fiber optic network. 1.1 Types of Fiber
1.1.1 Single-Mode (SMF): Designed for long-distance transmission (up to 100+ km), typically using a 9/125µm core/cladding diameter.
1.1.2 Multi-Mode (MMF): Used for shorter distances (up to 500m–2km), with common core sizes of 50/125µm or 62.5/125µm.
1.2 Connector Types
1.2.1 LC (Lucent Connector): Small form-factor, popular in high-density applications.
1.2.2 SC (Subscriber Connector): Push-pull design, commonly used in datacoms and telecom.
1.2.3 FC (Ferrule Connector): Screw-on type, often used in high-vibration environments.

1.3 Polish Types
